Glazed Self Portrait
The concept: paint a self portrait using only two colors - terra verde (green) and white... easy enough... Then allow the portrait to dry... Glaze into local color with burnt siena and violet. That's right - four colors... I think I prefer the Terra Verde over the final product. Glazing seems like a perfect way to ruin a painting...

Lazy Daisy - Painted Head II
Spot Five Gallery sponsored a Halloween head painting contest - you get a styrofoam head and a set of fluorescent paint. Entries were displayed in a black light show "Head Hunters" through Halloween 2009. I had a blast with this project - it was my second painted head (see below)
